COUNTYSHARE® Advertiser Rules & Guidelines

Rules and guidelines for Countyshare® adverstisemer.

COUNTYSHARE Members are welcome to utilize our platform to promote locally using our free site features and paid subscriptions. 

We expect all advertisers to follow these rules and guidelines for adverstiments displayed on our sites:

  • Do not use "ghosted" characters.  Use color contrast for easy to read ads.
  • Do not only use a nickname in the ad.  Clearly state a name or trade name as registered with departments of government.
  • Include any mandatory licensing information as provided by government entities as required.  If you are a licensed agent or a contractor you must follow rules that are applied by officiating entities for local, state and federal governments.
  • Advertisers profiles must include a website address (for organic growth from banner advertisement backlinks) and a phone number for an advertiser account to be approved.
  • Advertisements cannot be misleading or inaccurate.
  • Must have authorization to advertise the property, product, service, event, name or trade name.
  • Advertisements must also follow our code of conduct community rules.

Who is allowed to advertise?

  • Business
  • Organization
  • Non-Profits
  • People of Interest such as Public Figures
  • Bands
  • Community People

Examples of what can be advertised:

  • A Brand
  • A Product
  • A Service
  • An Event
  • A Public Figure
  • A Band
  • Volunteering Opportunities

COUNTYSHARE® reserves the right to not allow any ads we do not feel should be on our platform regardless of any rules posted here.  Any disapproved banner ads will not be counted towards billing.
